Refund Policy

Our Promise: If something doesn't work as expected, we'll make it right.

General Policy

We stand behind our service. If you're not satisfied with a purchase, contact us within 14 days and we'll work with you to resolve the issue - whether that's a refund, credit, or troubleshooting help.

Single Report Purchases

If you purchased a single report and:

  • The report failed to generate due to a technical error - full refund.
  • The scan didn't complete properly - we'll re-run it or refund you.
  • The report wasn't what you expected - reach out and we'll discuss options.

Credit Packs

Credits are non-refundable once used. However:

  • Unused credits from a recent purchase can be refunded within 14 days.
  • If credits were deducted but a report failed, we'll restore the credits.

Subscriptions

For subscription plans:

  • Cancel anytime - you'll keep access until the end of your billing period.
  • If you cancel within 48 hours of a renewal and haven't used any features, we'll refund the charge.
  • Partial-month refunds are generally not provided, but we'll consider special circumstances.

How to Request a Refund

Email us at support@sitemechanic.io with:

  • Your account email
  • What you purchased
  • Why you're requesting a refund

We typically respond within 1-2 business days. Refunds are processed through Stripe and may take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement.

Exceptions

We reserve the right to decline refunds in cases of:

  • Abuse of the refund policy (e.g., repeated refund requests).
  • Violation of our Terms of Service.
  • Requests made more than 30 days after purchase.
